The stanley 2 piece classic powerlock tape measure kit provides tradespeople and diyers with two reliable 5m 16ft tape measures, ensuring a spare is always within reach on site or in the workshop. First introduced in 1969, the powerlock design has stood the test of time thanks to its dependable performance and robust construction. Each tape is housed in a high-impact, chrome-plated abs plastic case built to withstand the knocks and drops of a busy job site. The smooth, quick-grab autolocking mechanism holds the blade firmly in position, while a conventional steel belt clip keeps the tape close to hand. The 19mm blade offers solid standout performance, making it practical for taking accurate measurements solo across a range of tasks from setting out on site to measuring up for home improvements. Dual imperial and metric graduations provide flexibility, and the mylar-coated blade resists wear for long-term reliability. Ec class ii accuracy is ensured by the super-strong 3-rivet, automatically adjustable tru-zero end hook. Buying as a twin pack makes it straightforward to keep one tape in a tool belt and another in the van or workshop, reducing the risk of being caught without a measure when it matters most.
