About cardamom, tonka & white oud:
nothing conjures up the mysterious or the majestic middle east more vividly than perfume.
From the towering sand dunes to the spice filled souks, the royal palaces or the thriving cities of arabia.
One love affair that has carried down through the ages is between the middle east and perfume:
nowhere else in the world is perfume worn and revered as much as it is in this region.
This glorious fragrance is inspired by the many, many treasures of arabia and its links with modern london, from its delectable confectionery's to its scents & rare spices.
Oud is one of the rarest most expensive and precious ingredients at a perfumers disposal.
We have created our cardamom, tonka & white oud as an homage to this mystical oil and this regal region by combining it with a new layer of spices and the depth & warmth of tonka beans to bring this regal note and wonderful oil to a new generation of perfume lovers.
The world's first recorded perfumer was a woman named tapputi who lived in ancient mesopotamia ca. 1200 Bce.
The region’s signature scent oud
Is derived from the agarwood trees and was culturally used in the region as incense, as a sign of respect and hospitality when guests enter the house.
Cardamom, tonka & white oud is the perfume of royals: strong, resplendent, endearing.
