It features 8 charging bays and comes ready for use with makita 40v xgt batteries. Batteries from the 18v lxt system can also be charged by using the adp10 adaptor which is sold separately. Once plugged in to the mains, four batteries can be recharged simultaneously and any remaining batteries are charged sequentially. The bcc01 comes with a detachable mains power adaptor and has an eyelet which enables it to be locked with a padlock if required.
