Synology Rackstation Rs1221rp Nas Storage Server Rack 2u Ryzen Embe

The Synology RackStation RS1221RP is an 8-bay, 2U rackmount NAS enclosure designed for centralised data management in compact or shallow-depth rack environments. Its short-depth chassis is approximately 30–38 cm deep, and redundant power supplies help maintain service availability in the event of a power supply or distribution-channel failure.

Powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), the RS1221RP supports SATA 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs and SSDs, with capacity for up to 12 drives when paired with a Synology RX418 expansion unit. It delivers up to 2,315 MB/s sequential read and 1,147 MB/s sequential write performance, and supports high availability clustering with a second identical unit for minute-level failover. ECC memory and the Btrfs file system provide added data integrity and snapshot capabilities.
