Every whisky release from henstone actually comes from a single cask meaning they are limited to around 300 350 bottles per distillation run and each one is mashed, distilled, aged and bottled at henstone distillery. This particular cask yielded only 270 bottles. Like all of their products, this whisky has not been chill filtered or coloured. This whisky differs from their others in that the whisky strength in the cask at the time of bottling is preserved with no water added before bottling, as is common. This means that you can add your desired amount of water or none at all to enjoy the flavours across different strength profiles.
