2022 Pont De Gassac Rouge

Pont de gassac is the everyday range from the guibert family, producers of the legendary mas de daumas gassac. Made from vineyards in the languedoc using the same quality-focused approach as their flagship wines but designed for immediate drinking rather than aging. This red typically blends mediterranean varieties including syrah, grenache and cabernet sauvignon. The 2022 vintage is recent, offering fresh fruit with good structure. Red cherry, blackberry and plum with garrigue herbs and subtle spice. Medium bodied with smooth tannins and bright acidity. Fruit-forward and easy-going with that warm southern character balanced by freshness. There s enough structure to handle food but it remains approachable and drinkable. Clean, satisfying finish. Serve slightly cool 14-16â c . Pairs well with grilled meats, ratatouille, herb-roasted chicken, or mediterranean dishes. Also works nicely on its own as an easy-drinking red. Enjoy within 3-4 years while the fruit is fresh.
