The aglianico grapes are sourced from old vineyards located near the titolo district, on the classic volcanic soils of vulture. Here, the vines, over 70 years old, give very low yields, and grapes of extraordinary richness and concentration of aromas. Production is therefore limited a few thousand bottles , and the wine's name, derived from the local dialect, means pomegranate, which in turn represents wealth and fortune, a tribute to the land and its people.
