The concept for envínate was formed in 2005, when the four winemakers met on an oenology course in alicante. The winery’s grapes are sourced from two regions: ribeira sacra in galicia, northwestern spain, and the canary islands, off the coast of africa. Both are heavily influenced by the atlantic ocean, reflecting the raw, wild character that this winery encompasses. This wine is refined and traditional on the palate, exhibiting finely grained tannins and fresh acidity. It is rich in minerals, with strong hints of pepper, red berries, dried herbs, and tobacco smoke. The finish is long, dry, and satisfying.
