Here the vines are rooted in ancient soil composed of a thin limestone conglomerate, and enjoy an eastern exposure with a beautiful view of the danube. After manual harvesting, fermentation occurs spontaneously in 500-liter french oak barrels, and the finished wine rests on the lees for 10 months. Ried spiegeln chardonnay is an elegant and characterful wine with a golden color and some silver reflections. On the nose, it reveals a lively and intense aromatic profile with notes of passion fruit and tropical fruit, herbaceous and woody hints. On the palate, it is juicy and mineral, with a medium body and a creamy texture. It has a strong and well-integrated acidity and a refreshing fruit concentration that returns on the long finish.
