It has been owned by the cazes family since 1934. Chateau lynch bages pauillac is a bordeaux blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, and petit verdot. After selection and manual harvesting from the estate's vineyards, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, and the finished wine ages for a year and a half in oak 75% new before blending and bottling. This expert blend creates a highly balanced wine, where cabernet sauvignon provides elegance and structure, merlot strength and concentration, and petit verdot and cabernet franc add spice. The resulting wine features an intense, deep color with purple tones and dark reflections.
