The first that the winery produced back in 2001, and one of its most complex and elevated reds. It begins with fresh blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, underscored by scents of dried herbs and spice. It is crafted from 100% carignan, harvested from the mineral-rich hills of priorat in northeastern spain. Terroir al límit is the invention of two friends who met while working in the mas martinet winery. Vintner dominik huber comes from germany and enologist eben sadie comes from south africa, each bringing something special to the hills of catalonia. Their very first edition of dits del terra was created from fruits they bought from the perez family at mas martinet, where the duo learned a great deal about the region. Black fruits, flowers, herbs, spice and hints of balsamic vinegar mingle on the palate of this silky red. It is a pure expression of carignan, fermented and aged in cement tanks.
