Vina robles cabernet sauvignon is mainly produced with cabernet sauvignon grapes, with a small addition of petit verdot, both grown on the estate. The finished wine is then aged for 20 months in a combination of french and american oak. It is a classy wine, rich and opulent but very balanced, reminiscent of the warmth and sun of california. In the glass, it shows a deep and dense color. The nose reveals powerful aromas of dark fruits, cocoa, violet, coffee, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is dense and consistent, deep and full-bodied with balanced and ripe tannins. It is perfect with a rich barbecue, roasted lamb and game stews.
