The wrekin d400 unite ductile iron gully grate delivers heavy-duty drainage performance engineered for high-load environments. Featuring enlarged frame corners that dissipate loads onto the foundation, this system provides enhanced service life and operational reliability in demanding installations. The reversible hinge mechanism allows the grating to operate with the direction of traffic flow, improving safety and reducing mechanical stress. A universal beam construction provides exceptional rigidity while maintaining single-unit hinge operation, minimising seat wear for extended service life. The 3-point suspension design ensures silent, non-rocking operation, while captive hinges reduce theft risk and allow secure lifting. Indexed corners guarantee correct orientation during installation, and frame gussets distribute stress evenly across reinforced corners for superior structural integrity. Features & benefits: suitable for highway drainage, roadway applications, commercial parking areas, and high-traffic zones requiring d400 load classification. Reversible hinge operates with traffic flow direction for enhanced safety and reduced wear. Universal beam construction delivers rigidity while allowing single-unit hinge operation. Captive safety-stop hinges prevent theft and falling when opened, with mechanical lifting points provided. 3-Point suspension design ensures silent, non-rocking operation in service. Reduced apertures increase pedestrian and bicycle safety over sta...
