The wrekin d400 unite ductile iron gully grate delivers heavy-duty drainage performance engineered for high-traffic roadway and commercial applications. Featuring enlarged frame corners that dissipate loads onto the foundation, this grating system provides improved durability and extended service life. The reversible hinge mechanism allows the grating to align with traffic flow direction, improving operational safety in demanding environments. The universal beam construction delivers significant rigidity improvements while enabling the grating to hinge as a unified assembly, reducing seat wear. Captive hinges minimise theft risk whilst facilitating straightforward lifting and maintenance access. The three-directional hinge design accommodates installation in any required orientation, supported by indexed corners ensuring correct positioning at first installation. Features & benefits: enlarged frame corners distribute loads evenly across foundations for improved longevity. Reversible hinge aligns grating with traffic flow for improved safety in roadway applications. Universal i-beam construction provides superior rigidity whilst maintaining single-unit hinge operation. Captive hinges with safety-stop mechanism prevent unauthorised removal and cover displacement when opened. Three-directional hinge orientation with indexed corners for flexible installation and correct positioning. Non-rocking 3-point suspension design ensures silent operation under traffic loads.
