Cesta metálica table lamp stainless steel is an atmospheric light designed by miguel milá in 1962. While walking through the streets of barcelona in the 1960s, miguel came across a discarded glass ball in front of a glass shop he immediately fell in love with his find, which later became the heart of the cesta series. Cesta is the spanish word for basket designed to hold the fragile glass ball.
Although the simple design has more than 50 years behind it, the light is perfect for a modern interior. The soft light creates a cosy atmosphere in the home, where the light can be used as both a table lamp and a floor lamp. The design of the light makes it easy to move the atmospheric light around on the shelves in the living room, on the floor in the bedroom or home office.
It is available in two different sizes the large cesta and the small cestita, as well as in two versions, wood and metal
