The dce350 is a cordless heat gun which is powered by a dewalt 18v or 54v flexvolt xr power tool battery, meaning that users can undertake applications such as paint stripping, loosening nuts & bolts, unthawing frozen pipes, bending pvc, shrinkwrapping and removing labels or stickers without needing to be connected to mains power. Suitable for delivering hot air at a temperature of either 290 c or 530 c at a rate of 109-190 l min, the dce350 has an adjustable temperature slider switch for selecting high or low settings and is supplied with a choice of two nozzles. The trigger can be locked on to enable hands-free use and improve comfort during sustained usage, but it also has a lock-off safety switch which prevents the trigger from being activated accidentally during transport or storage. Additional benefits include a base-mounted led worklight, side facing air vents. And an extremely compact, lightweight form factor at just 0.5Kg excluding battery.
