Built around a balanced 305mm aluminium sanding disc, the sm31 accepts adhesive-backed sanding discs for quick and secure changes between grits. The sanding table measures 156 x 438mm and tilts to 45 , providing versatility for angled work, whilst the included mitre gauge enables precise angle sanding for accurate joinery and finish work. A 52mm dust extraction port helps maintain a cleaner working environment when connected to appropriate extraction equipment. Safety features include a no-volt load release switch, which prevents the machine from automatically restarting after a power interruption.
