It is powered by a quiet dc motor and can operate at various speed settings. It is controlled using a remote control included in the scope of delivery including 2 x aaa batteries . This can also be used to switch between summer and winter modes. A warm white gx53 bulb, which is dimmable in three stages, is also included. It is replaceable, and a cover to conceal the light when not in use is also included in the delivery. Slipstream is suitable for sloping ceilings max. 6 And can also be used in sheltered outdoor areas for example, on a covered terrace. An optional extension rod is available as an accessory. Features equipped with summer and winter modes reverse : in winter mode, the blades rotate anti-clockwise, distributing warm air back into the room via the ceiling. This ensures even distribution and can help to reduce heating costs. The six speeds of the dc motor are selected via the remote control.
