Washing machine directions: for best results always clean the rug first with nikwax rug wash. No need to dry item s before waterproofing. It is vital that rugs are washed and rinsed thoroughly. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser. Place the clean rug in the washing machine. Use 500 ml for 1 rug. Treat 1 rug per load. Run 30 c cotton cycle. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows. Agitate to mix, push down into vessel so that whole rug is immersed. Add a further 15 litres of warm water to cover the rug and agitate. Leave to soak for 2 hours, agitating occasionally. Rinse in cold water until water runs clear. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows.
