Toupret anti-damp render is a high-performance, water vapour permeable coating designed to control damp on both internal and external masonry. Unlike standard sealers that simply block the surface, it creates a breathable barrier blocking liquid water from penetrating while still allowing trapped moisture vapour to escape, preventing the build up that causes blistering, peeling, and ongoing damp damage. On exterior surfaces, it reduces water ingress through porous or exposed masonry. On interior surfaces, such as cellar and basement walls, it acts as an effective moisture barrier without trapping residual dampness behind the coating. Mixed from powder on site, it can be applied by filling knife, blade or trowel directly onto raw, damp, or untreated masonry, with no need to seal or prime the substrate beforehand. A minimum application thickness of 2mm is required for the anti-damp properties to be fully effective, with the product performing reliably up to 1cm depth.
