The pedal is then fully cnc machined to remove as much material as possible. Internally, a short cromoly axle with an inboard hollow cut-out further reduces the overall weight to just 394g.Proprietary binding: the renthal developed binding uses easy entry geometry. This allows the rear jaw to move down and away from the cleat on engagement. The effect is a reduction in the force required to engage the cleat for a given spring tension. The bindings feature a huge range of spring tension to suit any rider's preference. Renthal bindings are fully spd compatible.Axle system: the patent-pending axle system, featured in the revo-trc, allows full home servicing, using standard tools found in anyone's toolkit. All that is required is a 6mm and 8mm hex-key, a standard 8mm socket, a torque wrench and a mallet. The unique system uses the axle to both remove and reinstall the bushings.
