Four wider circumferential grooves and angled sipes around the tread increase traction and handling on wet pavement, as well as reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The angled sipes also provide added grip on snow or slush covered roads. Road noise is reduced through the variable pitch tread sequence that nankang uses on this model. The computer optimized tread pattern creates a more quiet riding tire that makes driving more enjoyable.
