Made from slow-grown european redwood, primarily pine, these posts have superior absorption capabilities due to the timber’s open cell structure. Before treatment, the wood is carefully dried to below 28% moisture content, allowing it to absorb creosote deeply when applied. The creosote, heated to around 90 c and applied under pressure, ensures these posts can withstand decades of outdoor exposure. The colour of the creosote may vary from a light brown to almost black, but this does not affect the product's quality or performance.
