This useful tool works with most mini-split air conditioners, providing the unit comes with an infrared remote controller. This controller will teach’ the ir signals to the ars-1 module, enabling it to learn these remote codes. By doing so, it can send the same signals to the indoor mini-split head unit changing the setpoint to the desired day or night temperature setting, automatically based on the photocell sensor status.
