While walking through the streets of barcelona in the 1960s, miguel came across a discarded glass ball in front of a glass shop he immediately fell in love with his find, which later became the heart of the cesta series. Cesta is the spanish word for basket designed to hold the fragile glass ball.
The wireless version is charged via usb, and the light can be easily carried around the house wherever atmospheric lighting is needed. The built-in led is adjustable to three different brightness levels and can be used for approx. 5 Hours at peak power, 12 hours at medium power and up to 24 hours at minimum power.
The glass shade is supported by a beautiful stand, which is made by european craftsmen using traditional steam bending techniques and assembled by hand. Its distinctive form and function remain popular in modern décor.
