The strand pendant is composed of a steel construction, coated with thin layers of small threads of the cocoon material polypropylene fibres . Just like a cocoon, the thin layers come together to form a complex, semi-transparent structure. The lamp is easy to clean, as the material can be wiped down with a moist cloth.
A warm and diffuse glow shines through the lampshade, while a direct light flows from the top and the base of the lamp. Suspended above a dining or coffee table, the lampshade illuminates the table and emits a calm, harmonic light.
The lamp is available in three different sizes, and thought it works particularly well on its own, the soft shapes can be combined to create a cloud-like appearance.
