Coalgan compress is used in children, adults and pregnant women and is recommended for patients with congenital disorders of hemostasis rendu-osler, von willebrand, hemophilia or acquired disorders of hemostasis under treatment with antiplatelet agents, anti-vitamin k or heparins . Persistent bleeding requires medical advice. Rapidly stops bleeding: calcium alginate promotes platelet aggregation and reduces clotting time.
Promotes healing: calcium alginate stimulates key cells involved in healing, thus activating defenses against microorganisms and bacteria. This reduces the risk of dermatological complications.
