Redwood dressed r2a facing features two rounded edges rounded 2 arris and is commonly used as a facing board or architrave. The smooth planed finish makes it ideal for joinery projects where a high-quality appearance is required. Redwood is easier to plane, cut, and sand than whitewood, and is receptive to varnish, stain, or paint. If used externally, a suitable woodcare treatment should be applied.
