The hr2631f is an sds plus drill which features makita's avt anti-vibration technology. It has three modes for drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling, and chisels can be installed in one of 40 different positions for engaging the work at the optimum angle. Compact and lightweight, it has a torque limiter for safety, comfortable rubberised handle, a variable speed trigger and an led worklight. The design is more or less identical to the preceding model hr2611f, with the exception of the mode change lever which can now be operated without needing to rotate the chuck.
