The 1 litre size is perfectly suited for smaller applications, detailed work, or maintaining previously treated surfaces where a darker aesthetic is desired. The ebony shade provides a dramatic, contemporary finish whilst remaining translucent to allow the natural woodgrain character to show through. This low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain functions both as a base stain and finishing coat, delivering robust protection against mould, algae, uv radiation, peeling and cracking. The microporous, water-repellent formulation ensures optimal timber performance. Excellent for use as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates including cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber and fencing. As a base stain, it absorbs readily into timber to provide a sound foundation for finishing coats. Can be used alone as a system on cladding, decking and garden furniture, or as a base before applying cetol filter 7 plus or cetol thb plus on windows and doors. Should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
