The soare a-jig is a versatile little metal jig designed to catch mackerel and small predators in saltwater. Fitted with two assist hooks, the forward weighting design allows for vertical fishing from a boat as well as horizontal fishing from both a boat and the shore. The soare a-jig is an excellent lure to have in your collection if you're fishing for mackerel and other small saltwater predators. Simple and versatile, it can be paired with any light or ultra-light gear for maximum effectiveness and plenty of fun. You can fish the soare a-jig vertically from a boat in the same way you would fish any traditional metal jig, or horizontally from a boat or the shore using a quick twitch and pause technique. The forward-weighted design drops quickly on a slack line, but once your line is taut, it takes a horizontal position and swims with an erratic action.
