Sustainable wines tasting notes 100% viognier, this shows an intense nose of flowers, white peach and pear. On the palate aromas are expressed with balance and an amazing freshness. Producer profile domaine grand veneur is run by the jaume family, who have been making wine here since 1826. Covering nearly 50 hectares, the domaine has plots in châteauneuf-du-pape, côtes du-rhône villages, côtes-du-rhône and lirac. Some of the wines are now over 100 years old. Fundamental to their approach to viticulture is their commitment to respecting their soil, their vines and the health and ripeness of their grapes. To this end they farm organically their vineyards achieved organic certification in 2012. Practices vineyard & vinification the grapes are sourced from vineyards with clay and limestone soils, which impart a distinct minerality to the wine. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and clarity of the fruit while highlighting its natural expression.
