The outer layer of aluminium is electro-chemically hardened to create a darker finish on samuel groves’ line of mermaid hard anodised roasting equipment. Because it is twice as hard as stainless steel and has a non-peeling, non-flaking, non-blistering surface, our hard anodised products will accumulate a patina over time, making them non-stick. Aluminum is the preferred heat conductor of professional chefs because it heats up quickly and consistently and produces a fine, even bake.
