Every blade is individually thinned, finished and sharpened by hand in our workshop near marlborough.Our handle material was developed in house, developed over the course of a year using british materials and expertise.Marble handleseach batch of marble is hand-poured in to individual blank moulds using process that has taken a long time to perfect.Traditional handlesfor a long time, knife makers would put a thin strip of leather between the wood and the steel of their blades, to allow the handle to remain fixed even as the wood expanded and contracted during the seasons. Our traditional handle design references this heritage.Our knives are balanced and weighted for precision, with blended curves and graceful blade arcs. We have spent years perfecting our striking handle shape. The result is that our handles look and feel fabulous in the hand and beg to be picked up and used again and again. Our handle making process offers a huge range of colours across 4 distinctive patterns to please all tastes and match all kitchen styles.
