From Elvis in Memphis is the tenth studio album by Elvis Presley, recorded January–February 1969 at American Sound Studio in Memphis and released June 2, 1969. The sessions were produced by Chips Moman (with Felton Jarvis credited) and backed by the studio house band often called the Memphis Boys; the record blends rock, soul, country and blues and marked a major artistic comeback.
